Mr. Thompson has been actively engaged in providing Civil Engineering Design and Construction Management services for infrastructure development with main emphasis on providing water supply solutions throughout Jamaica for an excess of 35 years.

He is a Professional Registered Engineer that started his career as an Executive Engineer in 1981 with the National Water Commission (NWC).  Since 1987 he has been with Rural Water Supply Limited (formerly Carib Engineering Corporation Limited) when he joined as a Project Engineer.  He was promoted to the post he now holds as Managing Director in 2010.

Mr. Thompson holds a BSc. (Hons. Civil Engineering from the University of the West Indies and a Post Graduate Diploma in Sanitary Engineering from the International Institute for Infrastructure, Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering (IHE). He also holds a Certificate in Project Management and Analysis from the University of Connecticut

Mr. Thompson enjoys reading, watching football and athletics in his spare time.
